We didn’t find any thing related to auto scaling on Kinsta yet. Kinsta auto scales CPU and RAM to each site container (1 container in base plan). You cannot buy additional container with Kinsta as they doesn’t offer it as an addon.
Container: A type of box in which each site is stored, resources are 100% private and not shared between any other site, not even your own additional site
PHP Workers & CDN
In entry level plan, Nexcess offers 10 PHP Workers which are scalable to 20 while Kinsta is limited to only 2. Nexcess has included Redis free with in the hosting plan while Kinsta offers Redis an an addon with the pricing of $100/mo per site. Kinsta has limit the free CDN to 50GB afterward $0.10/GB. Nexcess offers 250GB free CDN storage and overage costs at $0.10/GB. Nexcess has owned datacenters while kinsta is Google Cloud platform based.
Both Kinsta and Nexcess doesn’t allow multisite network in their entry level plans as they are strict to single domain hosting. For this you have to choose higher level of plan.
